Okay so, this was a Nonfiction book about what would happen if suddenly the entire human race disappeared/wasn’t on Earth anymore/etc, and I read it a few years ago. And honestly it was pretty good and had a lot of valid points, but I very rarely read non-fic and it was hard for me to keep focused… so I just entertained myself by pretending that the reason the humans were gone was because of a zombie apocalypse.
So everytime I got bored, it’d be all “in new york city, buildings tower above the abandoned streets— and then a zombie trundled by” or “all the plastic collects in this one part in the center of the ocean— and sometimes you see a zombie get sucked in too all braaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAAAaaaaAAAAaaaaAAAAAins” (you know cause the AAaaAAA is him going around the whirlpool okay and I would do this out loud too).
And that is how I got through The World Without Us. Which you should read. Insert zombies at your leisure.
